Twilight Track Meet
7/2, 7/9, 7/16, 7/23

Come one, come all! Bring the whole family to the Twilight Track Meets this summer. These free meets will be held Thursdays beginning at 5:55 pm. Registration begins at 5:30 pm. The events are for everyone from ages 2 and older. No track and field experience is needed. Events include long-distance and short-distance running, relays, long jump and softball throw. Sherwood Robin Hood Festival
July 17-18, 2015

At the annual summer festival, enjoy live entertainment on three stages, medieval re-enactments, Maid Marian’s Court, Robin Hood and his merry men, a popular community parade, a knighting ceremony, castle building and flower contests, a teen dance, a kids area, crafts, lots of music, and delicious food. ~ http://www.robinhoodfestival.org/

Summer Meal Program

Did you know that there are over 600 free meal sites in the state of Oregon?  Each one of these sites provides a free lunch to children ages 1-18.  And many of these locations provide a free breakfast as well.  Go to www.summerfoodoregon.org where you can search by city to find all the locations near you that provide this fantastic program.


Museums

Portland Children’s Museum ~ Many families don’t know this but Target sponsors free admission from 4-8pm on the first Friday of each month.  Occasionally the date is changed to another day in the month so please visit their website for the most up-to-date information.  ~ http://www.portlandcm.org/visit

Free Swimming
