ANYONE INTERESTED IN SIBLING TOPICS

Join us at a workshop for parents, caregivers, service providers  and anyone interested in Sibling Topics to be presented by Don Meyer, Director of the Sibling Support Project and creator of Sibshops, a program for siblings of children with special needs. This lively training will invite participants to learn about the unique concerns and opportunities often experienced across the lifespan by brothers and sisters of people with special needs.

Thanks to generous sponsors, this day-long workshop is available at no cost and will include:

  • Presentation of research and large-group discussion regarding the experiences of siblings of people with special needs
  • A panel of adult siblings sharing their experiences, insights, and suggestions
  • An introduction to Sibshops, its goals, kid-friendly format, and community opportunities to participate
