This interactive workshop will guide students and their families through the process of transition from high school into the adult world, providing information on agencies, resources and eligibility requirements.
Topics will include:
Why planning ahead for transition is so important
What school districts are required to do to help plan for transition
Accessing resources to better understand the transition process

Presenter Peter Fitzgerald is the Technical Assistance Coordinator for the Youth Transition Program. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience on transition issues.
